Universitas Negeri Jakarta, University of Tainan and Universitas Negeri Gorontalo conducted International Seminar and Conference 2018

UNJ Public Relations (11/15/2018) Faculty of Economics of Universitas Negeri Jakarta cooperated with the University of Tainan and Universitas Negeri Gorontalo conducted an International Seminar which themed ”The Society empowerment through Creative Economics and Education in Disruptive Era”. Internation and Conference (ISC) are one of the annual events of the Faculty of Economics UNJ. This Event held on Abdul Latief Hendraningrat Hall, Campus A UNJ and attended by 37 institutions from National and international.

In Dean of Faculty of economics speech, Prof. Dr. Dedi Purwana E. S., M.Bus told that this International and Seminar Conference (ISC) is a big momentum for UNJ, UNG and the National University of Tainan “This program aims to strengthen the cooperation in international scale as the response of numerous obstacles  in future” he said.

The program officially opened by Dr. Achmad Ridwan, M.Si as the Acting Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. In his opening remarks, he mentioned that his sincere appreciation for the program due to the selected theme was adopted by the reality of actual current needs in facing the disruptive era today and after.

This program consisted of two sessions which were Seminar and Conference. Several keynote speakers from academicians, government and practical experts were invited to share their material in reaching the objective. The keynote speakers were Meg Mingchen Lu, Ph.D. (National University of Tainan), Fajar Bambang Hirawan (Special Assistant Staff for President) and Dr. Nining I Soesilo, M. A. (UKM Center from Universitas Indonesia).

In realizing Faculty of Economics commitment, ISC will be held continually once a year in order to actualize the Faculty of Economics contribution in developing science both on the national and international scale. (IWR)
