Groundbreaking Ceremony of Building Construction of SMP-SMA Labschool YP UNJ Cirendeu, South Tangerang
Public Relations of UNJ (12/11/2019) – Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), along with PT. Bressindo Media Edukasi executed a groundbreaking of building construction of SMP-SMA Labschool YP UNJ in Cirendeu, South Tangerang on Tuesday 12th November 2019. The groundbreaking was attended by the Rector of UNJ, Dr. Komarudin, M.Si., the board of Vice Rectors, together with their colleagues, President Director of PT. Bressindo Media Edukasi, Trisetyani Budiutami, S.E., Chairman of Media Edukasi Bangsa Foundation, Dr. Ir. Arissetyanto Nugroho, M.M., IPU, CME, MMS., and Financial Director & HR of Produksi Film Negara, Pardomuan Sihombing.
Dr. Arissetyo Nugroho, Chairman of Media Edukasi Bangsa Foundation, said that to realize an excellent human resource character in the industrial revolution era 4.0., an education model is required for providing competence-based specialty in the learning process. “We realize that cooperation among parties with willingness and synergy to execute an education program should be built to meet the goals. Alhamdulillah, thank God that we have had some parties in synergy to realize it,“ Dr. Aris noted. He hoped that the learning process implemented in SMP-SMA Labschool Cirendeu can generate competitive graduates.
Dr. Komarudin, M.Si., Rector of UNJ said that UNJ will supervise the construction process itself in order to ensure that the implementation of education will have been in line with the national standard.
“This is the 3rd Labschool building to be under construction. So, we will supervise the physical construction process to be in accordance with the standard. The school will be open to execute a nationally standardized education similar to that of the first Labschool as soon as all facilities are physically completed. We will also have character building education in the implemented curriculum and optimize students’ potential in person,” Dr. Komarudin explained.
The SMP-SMA Labschool Cirendeu is built in a 9.600 meter square land space accommodating 18 classrooms for each SMP and SMA level. More facilities are also well-provided such as indoor stadium, outdoor futsal and basket ball courts, laboratory, and digital library. This smart-school concept is supported with digital facilities, a start-up and educative business programs. Although it takes the Labschool eight months to be well-constructed, the school registration will be open for prospective students by January 2020.
