[:in]Humas UNJ (10/9/2019) – Pembukaan Rektor Cup XXIX (ke-29) secara resmi telah dibuka oleh Plt. Rektor UNJ, Prof. Intan Ahmad, pada Senin, 9 September 2019, di Lapangan UPT Perpustakaan, Kampus A UNJ. Para Wakil Rektor, Dekan, Dosen Pembimbing, serta kontingen peserta Rektor Cup XXIX hadir dalam acara ini.

Prof. Intan dalam sambutannya memberikan apresiasi kepada dosen pembimbing dan Unit Kegiatan Olahrga (UKO) UNJ yang telah membuat turnamen Rektor Cup dengan konsisten hingga ke-29 ini. “Olahraga untuk UNJ is always number one, sebagai mahasiswa belajar saja tidak cukup, jadi perlu mengikuti kegiatan ektrakurikuler, salah satunya olahraga” ujar Prof. Intan. Olahraga, beliau menambahkan, dapat membuat kita memupuk rasa sportivitias, serta memahami bahwa untuk bisa berprestasi harus dari kerja keras.

Harapannya untuk kegiatan ini adalah bukan hanya ajang kompetitif, tapi juga untuk memupuk rasa persaudaraan diantara mahasiswa, karena olahraga bukan hanya untuk kompetisi tapi juga untuk rekreasi. Di akhir, Prof. Intan berpesan agar jangan hanya olahraga saat usia muda saja, tetapi lanjutkan dan membiasakan diri berolahraga sampai tua.

Rektor Cup XXIX tahun ini akan mempertandingkan 9 Cabang Olahrga, dan yang berbeda dari tahun ini adalah adanya cabang baru yaitu e-sport (Mobile Legends). Turnamen ini akan diselenggarakan dari tanggal 9 – 17 September 2019. Para peserta dalam Rektor Cup merupakan kontingen dari 8 Fakultas yang ada di UNJ, ditambah kontingen dari dosen dan karyawan UNJ.[:en]Public Relations of UNJ (9/10/2019) – The Rector Cup XXIX (the 29^th) was officially opened by the Acting Rector of UNJ, Prof. Intan Ahmad, on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the yard of UNJ Library, Campus A UNJ. Attended the ceremony were the Vice Rectors, Deans, Advisors, as well as the contingent of Rector Cup XXIX.

Prof. Intan Ahmad in his remarks gave appreciation to the Advisors and Sport Student Activity Unit (UKO) of UNJ for having consistently held this Rector Cup Tournament up to this 29^th year. “Doing sport has always been number one for UNJ. It might not be enough for students to only study during their learning period in the university. They somehow need to join extracurricular activities; one of them may be joining sport.” He added. He further said that plays sports can foster sense of sportsmanship and make us understand that no pain, no gain.

He hoped that this event was supposed to involve not only a competition, but also to develop brotherhood among the students for sport is not only a competition but also a recreation. In his last words, Prof. Intan Ahmad suggested the students not only do sport in the young age, but also get used to it onwards until in the old age.

Rector Cup XXIX is organizing 9 sports branches for competition this year. What seems to be different this year from the previous years is that it includes Mobile Legends as a new branch. The Rector Cup Tournament will be held from September 9 to 17, 2019. Participants involved are contingents coming from 8 faculties of UNJ in addition to lecturers and staff of UNJ.[:]
