Croplife Indonesia is a non-profit association that represents the interests of farmers and the seeds and pesticides industry, which aims to promote sustainable agriculture for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and the environment, and hold a vocational use of safe and responsible products. Croplife and Universitas Negeri Jakarta conducted this cooperation agreement in the period from 2019 to 2024. Croplife also collaborated with Chulalongkorn University Thailand. This collaboration program is a basic study to analyze the current situation as it is an important element to implement the pesticide packaging management program and to see how far the farmers want to participate in collecting used pesticide containers.

On 9 January – 11 February 2019, UNJ collaborated with Chulalongkorn University Thailand and Croplife Indonesia regarding research studies on the Container Management Program that had been carried out in Indonesia. One of the objectives of this activity is to analyze the ability of stakeholders in Indonesia to carry out container management including handling plant protection in Indonesia, it’s funding, and mapping the Dangerous Good (DG) transportation in Indonesia. One of the efforts made in building an understanding of security and safety in the use of plant protection products is conducting education through various media.
