(22/7/2019) – New Student Admission Test (Indonesian: Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru; abbreviated as PENMABA) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta was held on July 20-21, 2019. At that time, 22,647 registered prospective students took the admission test. There were three types of exams: Science, Social, and Mixed. The participants of the exam will fight for a 30% quota of seats provided by UNJ for this admission test.

The written test for this year’s PENMABA was held on July 20, 2019, while the performance test was held on July 21, 2019. The performance test was only for those who applied for Fine Arts, Dance, Music, and Sports study programs. The test result will be announced on www.penmaba.unj.ac.id on July 30, 2019. The number of participants in the Social exam still dominates with 17,445 prospective students, followed by the Science exam with 4,169 prospective students, and Mixed exam group with 1,033 participants. On July 21, 2019, 1,114 prospective students took the performance test: Sports study program with 880 participants, 75 participants for Fine Arts study program, 41 participants for Dance Education study program, and 118 Music Education study program. There were 12 Diploma programs (D3), and 58 Bachelor programs (S1) opened for this year’s admission. Participants who took the Science exam were tested with Basic Ability Test (TKD) and Science subjects test, while the social exam participants were tested with TKD and Social subjects test. The Mixed exam participants had to face TKD, Science, and Social subjects test.

The 2019 PENMABA was carried out in several places determined by the committee, including Campus A UNJ, Campus B UNJ, Universitas Trilogy, Universitas Indonusa Esa Unggul, Universitas Borobudur Kalimalang, Universitas Islam Asysyafiiyah, Perbanas Institute, IBM ASMI, and several schools located in the East Jakarta area.
