UNJ Public Relations 27/02/2019 Ad interim Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Intan Ahmad had briefed the Probationary Civil Servants (CPNS) at Brigjen A. Latief Hendraningrat Hall, Dewi Sartika Building, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The event was also attended by the Vice Rector for General Administration and Finance, Dr. Komarudin, M.Sc, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Achmad Sofyan Hanif, M.Pd, Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Achmad Ridwan, M.Sc, Dean of UNJ, Deputy Dean, and Head of the UNJ Bureau.

The event was started with a speech delivered by the Vice Rector for General Administration and Finance at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Dr. Komarudin, M.Sc. He stated in his speech that the purpose of this event is to homogenize position by accepting and involving CPNS earlier. A total of 81 CPNS were accepted at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. After the speech, Ad interim Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta started his briefing. He explained things that must be known by CPNS in carrying out their duties as teaching staff at Universitas Negeri Jakarta in accordance with Law No. 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus. “The Three Pillars of Higher Education needs to be applied for institutional development. As an employee and lecturer, creativity must be obtained without compromising the tasks on campus, all for the welfare of each line in the institution,” he added. According to Prof. Dr. Intan Ahmad, being a CPNS means having to think for the interests of the institution, not for themselves. “Absolute assessment for a lecturer is from the consumers themselves, namely students. The lecturer will be considered good if the students said so,” he concluded in his remarks.

After the event, CPNS who were declared qualified will be given debriefing based on the decree and the young lecturers’ guidance by LP3M. It is expected that with the holding of this activity, CPNS who have passed can carry out their duties in accordance with the Three Pillars of Higher Education. (ag)
