UNJ Signed an MoU with Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI)

Public Relations of UNJ (8/2/2019) – Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) signed an MoU with Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) on Indonesia’s Sports Achievement Development through Three Pillars of Higher Education, on Friday, 2nd August 2019 at one spot of Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta. Acting Rector of UNJ, Prof. Intan Ahmad, Ph.D. and Chairman of KOI, Eric Tohir were respectively attending the event.

KOI is an independent organization which prepares and selects athletes, and delegates contingent to multi-event sports activities for international, continental and regional scopes organized by IOC, OCA, and SEAGF as well as its members and/or affiliations. KOI also maintains and promotes Olympic Movement, in which Olympic values are embedded, supports gender equality and sports for all.

This MoU is meant to realize a mutual relationship, respect and support for both parties. Furthermore, the cooperation is aimed to improve the development of national sports achievement, through which the Three Pillars of Higher Education are implemented, by utilizing both parties’ existing resources whose respective duties and functions. The MoU between UNJ and KOI will have lasted for five years (2019-2024). It is hoped that this cooperation scheme enable UNJ to contribute much better for the sake of sports development of the nation.
