Public Relations of UNJ (9/5/2019) – Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) was delightfully welcoming 13 students of 6 participating universities, who enroll in the National Student Exchange Program – Credit Transfer System by |Information Technology (PERMATA-SAKTI) 2019. The welcoming occasion was held on September 4, 2019 at UNJ Rectorate Building Lobby and attended by the Acting Rector of UNJ, Prof. Intan Ahmad, the Vice Rectors, together with the boards.

The Acting Rector, Prof. Intan Ahmad, who directly delivered the orientation and briefing, said, “It is a fortune for all of you to have been selected in this program. Nowadays, it is true that we have to be different from others. Participating in PERMATA-SAKTI program will allow you to learn other competencies, and this will show you how different you are”. He suggested the PERMATA-SAKTI participants get most of their limited time for mingling and interacting with UNJ students to have a good cross cultural understanding so that it promotes social cohesion of the youth in the country.

National Student Exchange Program – Credit Transfer System by |Information Technology (PERMATA-SAKTI) is the effort of the MInistery of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia and and MRPTNI to promote quality education and to strengthen network among education institutions in order to cope with challenges of higher education in globalization era.

UNJ receives 13 students PERMATA-SAKTI Program of 2019 who come from 6 partner universities. They are respectively 2 students of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), 3 students of Universitas Negeri Manado (Unima), 2 students of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), 2 students of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Bali, and 2 students of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa).

Dr, Achmad Ridwan, the PIC of PERMATA-SAKTI Program of UNJ said that this year’s program will be running differently from that of previous year in a way that the students will not be taking their full time study during the semester. Instead, they will be having their three-month onsite session (Mid-term Test in inclusion) followed with the other three-month online session, and they are required to complete 6 – 18 credits within one semester. PERMATA-SAKTI Program of 2019 will be conducted in the odd semester of Academic Year 2019/2020 and last for the whole semester.
