Memorandum of Understanding between UNJ and the Ministry of Defense

State Defense is an act of defending the State from external and domestic threats that are both physical and non-physical. As stipulated in the 1945 Constitution Article 30, defending the state is the obligation and rights of every citizen of the Republic of Indonesia.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Universitas Negeri Jakarta together with the Ministry of Defense that was represented by the Navy Colonel, Dra. Lily Limanovlava, M.Sc., as Head of Subdistrict Lingdik, signed a memorandum of understanding in cultivating awareness of defending the state with Students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The event was attended by Prof. Intan Ahmad, Ph.D., as the ad interim Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and accompanied by Prof. Ahmad Sofyan Hanif as Vice Rector for Student Affairs.

Furthermore, the Jayakarta Unit of the Universitas Negeri Jakarta Student Regiment received support in the form of equipment to support their field education, complete facilities, and infrastructure to support their performance. The support was to build the spirit of UNJ Student Regiment members in their education and service.
