Labschool of UNJ launched Labschool Olympiad Committee and Other Inventions

Jakarta 10/05/18, Labschool launched the Coaching program for talented and intelligent students which is prepared to obtain rows of achievements both national and international science Olympiad. The program named Labschool Olympiad Committee (LOC). LOC is one of the program that Labschool concerned the most. Through highly competent and professional teachers, LOC started with organizing talented and intelligent students, designing the stages, start from selection, coaching, managing and guiding.

In this launching occasion, two of Labshool medalists were invited, Nadif, a junior high school student at Labschool Jakarta who had contributed gold medal in OSN (Science National Olympiad) mathematics 2018 and Maskara Bagus, alumni of senior high school at Labschool Kemayoran who was mendalist in OSN geography. Nadhif’s and Bagus’s parents were exclusively invited to encourage the other 300 parents from 250 students’ who passed the selection stage from all Labschool; Jakarta, Kebayoran and Cibubur either junior or senior high school.

Achmad Sofyan Hanif, Vice Rector of UNJ in his speech stated that Labschool should continue to develop its management system which is well-organized and systemic in order to give birth various innovations. The presence of Labschool Olympiad Committee (LOC) is one of various coaching types that Labschool has. It intended not only to get internal achievements but also to inspire other teachers in large scale.

LOC is one of many inventions by Labschool. The head of BPS stated “not only Labschool Olympiad Committee, this year Labschool will launch Labschool Art and Culture, and Labschool Education Research Center: collaboration doctors and education experts at Labschool to give rise invention and innovation as Labschool contribution in Education realm.

Gilang Saputro, tim pengembang pendidikan Labschool menguatkan hal tersebut, “berbagai upaya yang dilakukan labschool bukan hanya berdampak pada peningkatan mutu Labschool, tetapi sebagai sekolah laboratorium sudah menjadi kewajiban Labschool untuk memberikan sumbangan pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan Indonesia dengan berbagai program terobosannya.” (Humas Labschool)
